What was the point – because the US doesn’t automatically send warplanes to any spot in the world where fighting breaks out, it cannot do so anywhere? The argument would probably be unanswerable in a debate among kindergarteners. Churchill once said something about 5 minutes’ conversation with the average voter being enough to make you wonder about the chances of democracy. I guess they didn’t have political comedy sketches then.
