Here is the maximum coverage Sunday’s Serbian presidential election has gotten so far in the US:

  1. Yes, they’ve got it right about “Beli” but Serbia, like unfortunately most other countries in the region besides Montenegro are left out of the West’s focus. And not only left out but Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel even openly supported Vucic’s presidential bid contravening Germany’s law from 1977 stating that the Prime Minister, or Chancellor in Germany, cannot concurrently run in the presidential elections.
As a consequence, we have seen a huge increase in authoritarian rulership style run by the long-term ultranationalist Vojislav Seselj’s subordinate Aleksandar Vucic. No wonder he has allies in his authoritarian style persons epitomized in Victor Orban of Hungary and Nikola Gruevski of Macedonia and even Seselj himself (Vucic monetary supports Seselj’s SRS and as well as he rejected extraditing Seselj’s close associates to the Hague Tribunal for which Serbia was reprimanded as Vucic himself was implicated in threatening witnesses in the case against Seselj).
More or less anyone with little information living in Serbia know Vucic brothers, Aleksandar and Andrej, run a narco-cartel in the country (see http://dostajebilo.rs/drzava-ne-moze-da-se-obracuna-sa-kriminalom-jer-je-vucic-na-celu-kriminala/) while falsely accusing wife of other presidential candidate of doing the same (see http://www.b92.net/info/vesti/index.php?yyyy=2017&mm=03&dd=20&nav_category=11&nav_id=1242157).
I’m afraid the West will soon see the full consequence of their inaction and/or faulty policy in the Balkans.
